Sining Filipina 2026 Opens Call for Entries as It Marks Its Third Year

 

Sining Filipina, the country’s pioneering nationwide all-women art competition, has officially opened submissions for its 2026 edition, entering its third year of championing Filipino creativity and elevating women’s voices in the visual arts. 

 

With the theme “Babae Para sa Bayan: Women Leading Change from Home to Nation,” the competition invites Filipina artists to submit original works until January 25, 2026. This year’s program continues its mission to spotlight the unique talent, perspectives, and artistic narratives of women across the Philippines.

Established in 2024, Sining Filipina is a dedicated national platform for women in the visual arts. In just three years, it has grown into a recognized annual initiative that celebrates the artistic diversity of Filipinas, uplifting their stories through a wide range of media, styles, and creative expressions.

 

BDO and SM Supermalls present the 2026 edition for the benefit of the Zonta Club of Makati & Environs Foundation, Inc, with support from Fersal Hotel, HWRU, and Airspeed. The competition continues to expand visibility for both emerging and established women artists, underscoring how art can empower communities and inspire positive social impact. Its sustained partnership with SM Supermalls also reinforces the mall’s longstanding advocacy for women and support for local creative talent.

 

As Sining Filipinas enters its third year, the program aims to build on its momentum and encourage even more involvement from women artists nationwide.
