SM SUPERMALLS AND SPORTS CENTRAL LAUNCH FIRST CAR PARK RUN IN PH

Leg 3 will feature the country’s first car park run at SM North EDSA.

Get ready to sprint, climb, and conquer as SM Supermalls partners with Sports Central to bring a twist to the Philippine running scene with Leg 3 of the Under Armour Home Turf Challenge, which features the country’s first carp park run happening on September 5, from 9 PM to 2 AM, at SM North EDSA’s Car Park Plaza.

As one of the sporting events under the SM Active Hub banner – the country’s largest playground with the widest network of run clubs – the Under Armour Home Turf Challenge Leg 3 will push runners to work together by taking on the challenge of conquering the multi-level spiral parking ramp of SM North EDSA in a dynamic “hill intervals” format. The event also features a mini scavenger hunt, where participants can earn points by discovering hidden markers throughout the venue.

While members from at least 20 established run clubs will join, the event is open for any runner to take on the challenge, as this promises to be a high-energy, unforgettable milestone in the Philippine running scene.

But the race doesn’t end at the finish line. The Under Armour Home Turf Challenge Leg 3 is also redefining Metro Manila's night life scene for the active crowd with a post-race party featuring a live DJ, electrolyte mocktails from B’lue, healthy shakes from Nutribullet, wellness concessionaires, and an interactive UA Shoe Testing Booth where runners can try the new UA Halo.

The Under Armour Home Turf Challenge is the biggest gathering of Metro Manila run clubs. More than just a race, this milestone solidifies SM’s position as a leader in sports activations in its category, elevating the mall experience into a fitness-driven lifestyle movement.

“As SM Supermalls marks its 40th year, we aim to make our malls a true part of the fitness journey of every Filipino. SM and Sports Central’s partnership for this initiative strengthens our shared mission to promote healthier lifestyles,”SM Supermalls executive vice president for Marketing Joaquin San Agustin shared.

“We are also excited to share with everyone that all Under Armour Home Turf Challenges will be held in SM under our Active Hub banner,” he added. For the 2025 edition, previous legs were held in SM Mall of Asia and SM City Marikina last April and June, respectively.

Meanwhile, Sports Central president Philip Go said, “we are honored to bring the Under Armour Home Turf Challenge to SM Supermalls, and proud to kick off our partnership with an exciting leg that serves as both a challenge and a celebration to anyone who wants to adopt an active lifestyle. You don’t have to be a runner — you just have to run.”

Since 2024, the Under Armour Home Turf Challenge has brought together the hottest run clubs in Metro Manila, uniting casual joggers, seasoned athletes, and wellness advocates. Each event brings a unique race flavor, that fosters camaraderie, healthy competition, and pride in representing one’s home turf.

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines, March 2026 - SM Supermalls unveils SM City Zamboanga, its 90th mall in the Philippines, designed as an architectural expression of the culture and artistry of the Zamboanga Peninsula. The mall translates the city’s rich visual traditions into a contemporary lifestyle space where design reflects identity, heritage, and movement.
