JoyRide Super Taxi adds transport options to-and-from NAIA

Passengers traveling through the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) can now enjoy a seamless and stress-free airport transfer experience, thanks to the JoyRide Super Taxi Airport Edition service. Officially rolled out in December 2024, this next-generation airport transfer service is designed to eliminate long waits, complicated bookings, and last-minute ride uncertainties, ensuring travelers a convenient, reliable, and premium transportation experience.

With an initial fleet of 70 well-maintained, JoyRide-branded Toyota Veloz units and 150 professional drivers with customer service training, the Super Taxi Airport Edition is now stationed at NAIA Terminal 3, offering passengers instant access to airport transfers. A dedicated Super Taxi Airport Transfer Lounge is located at the NAIA Terminal 3 Arrivals area, allowing travelers to avail of a ride on the spot – no app, no waiting; just a quick and efficient ride to their destination.

Redefining Airport Transfers in the Philippines

In a recent press conference, JoyRide’s Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs Noli Eala emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing the mobility experience for Filipino travelers.

“We understand how stressful it can be for passengers to secure reliable airport transportation, especially during peak hours. With the JoyRide Super Taxi Airport Edition, we are setting a new standard for airport transfers – one that prioritizes efficiency, accessibility, and passenger comfort,” Eala said.

He added that the Super Taxi Airport Edition takes inspiration from leading international airports, where dedicated transfer services are readily available. “We want to provide the same level of convenience seen in top global airports. By ensuring that our vehicles and trained drivers are on-site and ready to go, passengers can finally say goodbye to the long queues and uncertainty of ride availability,” he explained.

Instant Rides, Premium Service

Unlike traditional taxis or app-based ride-hailing services, the Super Taxi Airport Edition offers walk-in passengers a guaranteed ride without needing to wait for driver matching. Customers simply visit the Super Taxi Airport Transfer Lounge at Terminal 3, where they will be welcomed by one of JoyRide’s Customer Service Assistants, receive an instant quote, and immediately be assigned a driver and a Super Taxi unit ready to take them to their destination. For those who prefer to plan ahead, JoyRide also offers a pre-booking option to and from NAIA Terminals 1, 2, and 3 via the JoyRide Superapp or website under its Hatid-Sundo Airport Rides service.

All Super Taxi Airport Edition drivers are uniformed and professionally trained to ensure passengers receive the highest level of service. Each ride is monitored in real-time via GPS tracking and dash cams, with a 24/7 concierge team overseeing operations for added safety and efficiency.

Strategic Expansion & Future Plans

The launch of the Super Taxi Airport Edition is part of JoyRide’s broader vision of enhancing mobility solutions for Filipinos. The company is working closely with the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) to elevate passenger experience at the country’s primary gateway.

“This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting the modernization of NAIA and ensuring that travelers, both local and international, have access to a world-class airport transfer service,” Eala underscored.

Currently available at NAIA Terminal 3, JoyRide is awaiting NNIC’s approval for Super Taxi Airport Edition operations at Terminals 1 & 2. There are also discussions to introduce the service to other major airports across the country, reinforcing JoyRide’s role as a leader in the Philippine mobility sector.

A New Era in Philippine Mobility

As the country’s largest homegrown mobility superapp, JoyRide is at the forefront of the evolution of transportation services in the Philippines. From motorcycle taxis and private car services to parcel delivery and bus ticketing, JoyRide continues to innovate and provide Filipinos with safer, more convenient, and affordable mobility solutions that suit their specific needs.

“At JoyRide, our mission is to make everyday travel simpler, more accessible, and stress-free,” Eala added. “The Super Taxi Airport Edition is just one of the many services and innovations aligned with our #SafeKaSaJoyRide campaign,” he concluded.

For more details on the Super Taxi Airport Edition, passengers can visit the Super Taxi Airport Transfer Lounge at NAIA Terminal 3 or pre-book their rides to and from NAIA Terminals 1, 2, and 3 via the JoyRide Superapp or joyride.com.ph.
