Manila Philippines, February 2025 - Taiwan made a grand impression on the Philippine travel scene this February with two exciting events: the Taiwan Pavilion at the 32nd PTAA Travel & Tour Expo 2025 and the Taiwan Tourism Workshop, held on February 10 at Conrad Manila, February 11 at SMX Convention Center, Clark. Both events celebrated Taiwan’s vibrant culture and booming tourism industry while strengthening its ties with the Philippine travel market.


At the Taiwan Pavilion, held from February 7 to 9 at SMX Convention Center, visitors were treated to an immersive Taiwanese experience. The booth’s stunning design, featuring photo walls, cultural performances, and interactive activities, earned the coveted "Most Decorated Booth" award and high praise from PTAA President, Ms. Evangeline Tankiang-Manotok.

Taiwan Tourism Workshop 2025 followed soon after on February 10 and 11, 2025, bringing together travel industry professionals, airlines, and media representatives. Held at the Conrad Manila, the workshop showcased Taiwan’s top destinations, tourism statistics, and growing efforts to make the country more accessible to Filipino travelers.


Key representatives from Taiwan Trade Center, Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel, China Airlines, EVA Air, STARLUX Airlines, Philippine Airlines,AirAsia, and more fostered discussions on strengthening travel partnerships. The workshop aimed to encourage more Filipinos to explore Taiwan’s unique blend of tradition and modernity.


Ms. Yi-Ting Chen, Director of Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila, led the welcome speech, highlighting Taiwan’s evolving tourism efforts, followed by Mr. Wallace Minn-Gan Chow, Representative of the Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), who emphasized Taiwan’s strong ties with the Philippines.


Interactive games and a travel mart rounded out the event, leaving participants inspired and excited for future trips.
