SECURE INCOME EVEN AFTER RETIREMENT WITH NEW SUN LIFE GREPA PRODUCT

Many Filipinos tend to rely on mandatory company retirement payouts or government-sponsored retirement systems (SSS or GSIS) rather than actively preparing for their retirement. However, as life expectancy increases and the need for financial security during one’s golden years grows, planning for a comfortable retirement has become more crucial than ever.

That is why Sun Life Grepa Financial, Inc. (Sun Life Grepa), one of the major life insurers in the country, has launched Sun Grepa Secure Income which aims to help individuals achieve a financially stable and worry-free retirement.

“Sun Grepa Secure Income is our response to the rising concern among retirees about outliving their savings. It allows clients to enjoy a comfortable and independent retirement,” Sun Life Grepa President Richard S. Lim said.

“By providing both protection and a lifetime income stream, Sun Life Secure Income empowers Filipinos to look forward to a retirement that is not only secure but also financially rewarding,” Lim added.

Sun Grepa Secure Income provides a guaranteed stream of income through annual cash benefits. Starting at the end of the 6th policy year, policyholders receive an annual cash benefit equal to 6% of the Face Amount, which continues until age 100. This feature ensures retirees have a steady and reliable source of funds to support their needs throughout their lifetime.

In addition, Sun Grepa Secure Income plan includes a Centenarian Bonus, allowing clients to receive in advance a portion of their life insurance benefit equal to 25% of the Face Amount on policy anniversary when they reach ages 80, 85, 90, and 95. It also offers life insurance coverage equal to 200% of the Face Amount less the said Centenarian Bonus from the first day of coverage until age 100, providing peace of mind and ensuring that loved ones are protected.
