Hearts Beat at Araneta City this Valentine's Day

This Valentine’s season, Araneta City invites you to step into a world where love isn’t just in the air—it’s alive in every experience, every melody, and every shared moment.

The City of Firsts turns into an ultimate romantic destination with LOVE BEATS IN THE CITY that is full of enchanting events, live serenades, and interactive activities designed to make your celebration unforgettable --whether you're with a significant other, friends, or family.

Romantic sight to behold

Araneta City embraces the spirit of love with heart-filled displays that add a touch of magic to the everyday cityscape. Gateway Mall 1, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza are decked with heart-shaped clouds, offering a cute backdrop for couples and friends to capture memories.

At Gateway Mall 1 and 2, stunning heart-shaped arches framed by the Trees of Love set the scene for romance, inviting visitors to stroll through a dreamy setup made for shared moments.

Music lovefest and sweet treats

Music plays a central role in the City of Firsts' celebration from February 13 to 15. Main highlight is on February 15, with Gen Z's latest heartthrob -- PBB alumni Jarren Garcia -- serenading Farmers Plaza in an afternoon of romantic melodies and must-watch performances.

Leading to this are pockets of live musical performances that will bring a festive atmosphere to all Araneta City malls:

  • February 13: Shirina's Serenade (Gateway Mall 1)

  • February 14: Karla and Arcy (Gateway Mall 2), Rain Gibbz (Gateway Mall 1), Aerone Mendoza (Ali Mall), Talaarawan (Farmers Plaza)

Apart from the musical presentations, the audience will feel the love with exciting freebies such as sweet goodies, photobooth, couple caricature, and tarot card reading on love. To enjoy these perks and watch all performances up close, guests simply need to present a P1,500 single-receipt purchase.

Celebrate love in every form

Araneta City also offers multiple opportunities to spread love. Netizens with a beautiful love story at the City of Firsts can join the "We Keep This Love in a Photograph" digital promo for a chance to win an overnight stay at Novotel Manila Araneta City with breakfast buffet for two! Simply share your photo while on a date at any Araneta City restaurant, use the hashtags #LoveBeatsInTheCity, #AranetaCity, #CityOfFirsts, and #ValentinesDay2025, and follow all of Araneta City and Gateway Mall's social media pages.

For those looking to declare their feelings in a grand way on February 14, "Quantum Skyview’s Love Confessions" invites shoppers to submit heartfelt messages to their crush via Araneta City’s official Facebook page. In return, the messages will be flashed on the massive Quantum Skyview LED of Gateway Mall 2, the first and only indoor LED ceiling in the metro!

Even fitness enthusiasts have something to look forward to with "Wear Your Status" on February 16. Be extra expressive at the Sunday aRUNeta Run Club by wearing your desired color depending on your relationship status (red for in love; pink for single; gray/black for broken; yellow for complicated) to turn your morning run into a playful social experience.

"Valentine’s Day is all about making meaningful memories, and Araneta City is the perfect place to create those moments. From live music to interactive activities, we invite everyone to come and celebrate love with us," said Marjorie Go, VP for Marketing of Araneta City.

This Valentine’s season, there’s no better place to celebrate than Araneta City. Whether you are planning a romantic date, a fun day out with friends, or simply basking in the festive atmosphere, the City of Firsts your ideal City of Love for a lovely experience unlike any other.

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines, March 2026 - SM Supermalls unveils SM City Zamboanga, its 90th mall in the Philippines, designed as an architectural expression of the culture and artistry of the Zamboanga Peninsula. Located along Mayor Vitaliano Agan Avenue in Camino Nuevo, the four level development spans about 61,000 square meters. The building rises with a modern silhouette that introduces a new architectural landmark for the city while drawing inspiration from the artistic traditions that define Zamboanga. Known for its vividly colored sails, the traditional boat represents the maritime culture of the Zamboanga Peninsula and nearby island communities. Its geometric patterns and bold color combinations have become a visual signature of the region. Insi...
