Ring in a prosperous Year of the Snake at GH Mall and Estancia Mall

  

 

Are you looking for fun ways to spend your Chinese New Year with your loved ones? Ortigas Malls has you covered with whole-day events at GH Mall and Estancia Mall to ring in a prosperous Year of the Wooden Snake on January 29, 2025.

 

The Year of the Wooden Snake is said to be a time of growth and transformation, emphasizing luck in careers, relationships, and personal improvement. GH Mall and Estancia Mall have prepared exciting shows and activities for the entire family to make the occasion more memorable.

 

GH Mall (G/F East Wing Atrium)

Kicking off the festivities is a Dragon & Lion Dance at the East Wing Atrium at 10AM. This is your chance to catch a live performance featuring vibrant and colorful dragon and lion dancers. The performance features loud drum beats to ward off bad luck and help welcome good luck into our lives.

 

Following the show is a Meet & Greet with the God of Prosperity at 11AM, and a chance to speak with a Fortune Teller at 12PM to get helpful insights into the year ahead. Finally, there will be an electrifying Drum War at 2:30PM to further keep bad luck away for a joyful Chinese New Year.

 

You can get your fill of tikoy, desserts, and other delicacies at the Chinese New Year Pop-up from January 31 to February 2. There will also be lucky trinkets, vinyl records, accessories, and more goodies that you can take home.

 

Estancia Mall (G/F East Wing)

From 10AM to 1PM, you can catch the impressive Chinese New Year Dragon & Lion Dance that will help usher in a lucky year for you and your loved ones. Certified Master Feng Shui Consultant Joyce Co will also be in attendance to give a talk titled “Welcome the Year of the Snake” from 3PM to 4PM to give you an outlook on what to expect and what to avoid this year.

 

There will be a Chinese Cultural Dance from 4PM to 5PM for a glimpse of the beautiful art and culture of China. There’s also something for the kids as they can enjoy the dynamic Chinese Puppet Show from 5PM to 6PM.

 

Take home delicious tikoy, trinkets, accessories, and other goodies from the Chinese New Year Pop-up from January 29 to February 2. You’re sure to find delicious delicacies and gifts to share with your loved ones at home.
